Strategic Risk Solutions Inc. (SRS), the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, is growing and seeking an experienced Stop Loss Insurance Policy Administrator to join our MSL Captive Solutions US Division.

This remote role will be responsible for the policy administration activities related to medical stop loss captive business of the company. Note: This is not a compliance focus position.

Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Managing the production of policy documentation on employer stop loss policies underwritten by the company, including applications
  • Maintaining an efficient workflow process to issue required documentation and monitor the status of all policies on sold cases
  • Correspondence with producers and underwriters to obtain necessary documents and approvals for the issuance of policies
  • Ensuring that employers are in compliance with policy terms including monitoring the payment of premium and the issuance of premium lapse notices
  • Maintaining licensing and other compliance documentation for producers and other vendors on the programs as required
  • Assistance in the preparation of captive reinsurance treaties
Attributes and Skills: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Solid knowledge of processing methods and workflow procedures, and basic knowledge of insurance underwriting and regulations
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, including Excel, and Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with David Young (ESL) system is preferred
  • Excellent organizational, planning & prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-management and motivation with the ability to work well with all levels of employees and producers
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or on individually assigned tasks in an environment where attention to detail and prioritization skills are essential 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
