The Program Account Manager is responsible for the operations of group employee benefit captive programs managed by SRS. This role is team based with the opportunity to grow as we continue to do so. This individual is the core contact for reporting and analysis to agents and clients of our assigned captive programs. We are open to individuals with group health, stop loss, and self-funding experience willing to learn the captive market. 
 
This role reports to Director, SRS Benefit Partners.
This role can be remote, anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and manage trusted relationships with assigned captive program clients and partners, including effectively interfacing with C-Suite and executive level business relationships at the policyholder, TPA, Broker, Captive and a variety of third parties.
  • Function as primary liaison with carrier, TPA, vendors to oversee necessary captive deliverables to ensure timely reporting and member/consultant support.
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual loss reporting packages, quarterly conference calls, 1:1 report introduction call as well as support of presentations at regional and annual program meetings.
  • Assist with onboarding all new captive program members.
  • Develop and manage renewal information for communication to internal and external parties, including analysis of historical performance to be shared with carriers and communication of renewal terms to the assigned captive program.
  • Work with agency partners and captive members in the development and implementation of risk management strategies  
  • Work with vendor relationships to maintain smooth coordination between the parties (TPAs, disease management, broker, captive, members, etc.)
  • Assist in the evaluation of vendor partners for the programs and co-ordinate the smooth implementation of vendors to the program including coordinating informational sessions for captive members.
  • Support SRS Account Executives in the launch of new captive programs to ensure a smooth implementation.
  • Provide support for client meetings, including but not limited to development of content, delivery of presentations and attendance at member meetings/board meetings as needed.

Attributes and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of group health, stop loss or self-funding benefits consulting experience; or experience working at an insurance carrier.
  • Strong analytic skills and comfort with excel and other data analytic software.  Understanding of M365 preferred.
  • Experience working with external clients and leading client meetings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel 10%, as needed.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic team and provide feedback.
