Strategic Risk Solutions Inc. (SRS), the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, is growing and looking for an Underwriting Analyst Intern to join our US Advisors consulting team.
This hybrid position will assist our underwriting team with a wide breadth of activities and clients within the captive insurance industry. The role will report to our Concord, MA office 1-2 days a week.
Compensation: $20.00/hr
Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality analysis within project scope and timelines
Assist with quantitative and qualitative analysis of insurance-related data
Assist with evaluating and assessing economic, technical, and risk profiles of clients
Assist with pricing and premium allocation for clients
Research industry trends and benchmark client performance
Support renewal presentations for C-Suite executives
Participate in ad hoc projects to help clients achieve risk management goals
Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program with strong educational foundation in Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.
Cumulative GPA of at least 3.50
Ability to report to the Concord, MA office 1 -2 days a week
Proficiency in Excel
Passion for solving complex problems through data
Strong attention to detail and proactive communication skills
Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations
